We reserve the right to alter tariffs without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will not be affected by changes.

A reservation is only confirmed once we have issued a written confirmation.

Rates per person per night and inclusive of breakfast.

Right of admission reserved - to ensure your privacy we request that you do not invite any of your own guests or visitors to use facilities at Bakenhof, without prior arrangement.

No Smoking in any of our buildings please.

We request that guests do not enter any area marked Private - specifically the kitchen area.

No self catering please. Please contact us for any catering requests.

Please lock all valuables away in safes provided and switch lights and air-conditioning off when leaving the room.

Please never leave a burning fire unattended, either at the braai or one of the fireplaces.

Inventory will be taken before arrival and departure. Please do not remove any decorations, linen, equipment or provisions out of the room, or this will be charged to your account.

Please settle all outstanding accounts prior to departure.

No Pets allowed.

Deposit: your reservation is only confirmed once we have received 50% of the booking value and provided you with a written confirmation.

Unless otherwise agreed, the balance of the booking value (50%) to be paid 7 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation fourteen days or more of arrival: 50% of the booking value will be charged.
• Cancellation between seven and thirteen days of arrival: 75% of the booking value will be charged.
• Cancellation between six days and day of arrival (or later) : 100% of the booking value will be charged.
• Non arrival: 100% of the booking value will be charged.

Bakenhof does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any belongings and the Client accordingly indemnifies Bakenhof against any claim arising due to such a loss or damage to any belongings.

Bakenhof shall not be held liable for interruptions of services, including water, electricity and sanitary services and not be held responsible for any damage so caused.

Bakenhof reserves the right to cancel a booking forthwith and without liability on its part in the event of force major including, but not limited to: war, civil unrest, natural disaster and any other unforeseen circumstances that may lead to the facilities not being available for the function. In such an event, Bakenhof will make an alternative date available and/or refund the deposit and fees already paid by the client to Bakenhof, minus any expenses that Bakenhof may have already had to incur prior to the accommodation date.

Bakenhof Wine and Grape Farm is a working farm - visitors enter at own risk. Bakenhof will not be held responsible for any losses, damages, theft, injury or death of any host, guest or any other individuals who attend, make use of, or visit the property, or make use of any amenities on the Estate.

Children are welcome, however parental supervision must be maintained at all times with responsibility for safety and wellbeing resting with the Parents. There are many water features, a pond and a pool on the property - vigilance is required and our Disclaimer also applies in this instance.
