The round wrought iron gazebo in the centre of our rose garden offers a romantic focus point where guests can gather in anticipation of the celebration. A number of churches and places of worship in close proximity to Bakenhof are able to accommodate wedding ceremonies, but we offer various on-site areas where you can pledge your vows. These areas are only available in conjunction with booking one of our Wedding Packages. Again, we are flexible and able to accommodate changing plans according to prevailing weather conditions, and arrange additional décor and furniture. The Wedding – Pre Reception Drinks Allow your guests to relax and mingle with a glass of bubbly while your photographs are taken at a leisurely pace. To create a natural flow between the Ceremony and Reception you may wish to offer elegant canapé’s, which can serve as the Starter course, should you prefer. Wedding packages includes the set-up and use of any of the areas below, this area must however be the same area chosen as Welcome Area. Please refer to the Wedding Welcome Area for more information. We offer 2 Reception Area options to accommodate 10-100 guests. All options include the use of the kitchen and cold room for catering purposes. Our Platinum Package offers the exclusive use of the Vineyard Village and the entire Guesthouse, including the 5 en-suite bedrooms and separate guest WC and Guesthouse Public Areas. Our spectacular setting, gardens and grounds offer many wonderful opportunities and we are flexible to accommodate changing weather conditions.
